This workshop is for everyone who wishes to be a better advocate for LGBTQ+ people as a case worker, housing-affiliated entity, or friend, as well as folks who have been made vulnerable to violence and trafficking by anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination, legislation, and housing insecurity. Through a poetry performance, an informative slideshow, and an accountability activity, participants of this workshop will leave with a deepened understanding of their role in a safer community for queer and trans people.
